Ashok provides engineering and managerial consulting services in Highway and Transport Planning and Engineering, Civil and Transportation Engineering and Planning, Structural Engineering, Water and Waste-Water Engineering, Civil Engineering Construction and Rural and Urban Infrastructure Planning. Transport related projects include traffic signals design, parking studies, parking design, traffic impact studies, geometric design of roads and public transport facilities and road safety, as well as project management and civil infrastructure services.

Business model

To minimize overheads, the bulk of Ashok’s operations and activities will be centralized and office bound. Only when collecting required data and or Ashok has won a contract will company resources move to the site of data collection or of the contract.

Value chain

A value chain  is a set of activities that Ashok will perform in order to deliver valuable consultancy  services for its clients. When required, Ashok will critically review a client’s inputs, processes and outputs. These inputs, processes and outputs invariably involve the acquisition and consumption of resources. How these value chain activities are carried out determines costs and affects profits. As in Porter’s generic value chains, Inbound Logistics, Operations, Outbound Logistics, Marketing and Sales, and Service are categorized as primary activities. Secondary activities include Procurement, Human Resource management, Technological Development and Infrastructure.
